We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly barista to join our team. As a barista at Hot Java Bar, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Daytime and Nightime shifts available. Bartending experience a plus. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages consistently to company standards. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and answering questions about the menu. Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines and grinders. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and reporting low stock levels. Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently. Uphold all health and safety regulations within the coffee shop. Qualifications: Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, if needed. Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
